Elite 8 Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free or low-cost recreational events and activities for military members, veterans, and their families. Our mission is to promote physical, emotional, and social well-being while fostering resilience, camaraderie, and family bonding.
We serve active-duty military members, veterans, and their families, ensuring they have access to meaningful recreational activities, celebrations, and community support.
Morale & Welfare Events – Hosting free or low-cost recreational activities for military members, veterans, and their families.
Career Development & Job Placement – Offering training, certifications, and job placement, particularly in the Security Industry.
Feeding Programs – Providing meals at morale events, including holiday celebrations like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Hanukkah.
Military Unit Support – Fundraising for unit functions, including the Marine Corps Ball and other military traditions.
Consulting & Event Planning – Assisting military and veteran organizations in organizing meaningful and mission-aligned events.

Transportation may be coordinated depending on the event location and partnership agreements. Units are encouraged to communicate transportation needs in advance so appropriate arrangements, for the most part transportation is always included.
Yes. All volunteers will be provided with meals and bottled water during volunteer shifts. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice.
Yes. The Elite 8 Foundation partners with sponsors and community donors who contribute based on the volunteer hours served. Funds raised are directed toward programs that support military service members, veterans, and their families. If your unit volunteers, proceeds can directly be donated to your Marine Corps ball Fund and or family events that support our non-profit organization cause.
Yes. If overnight participation is necessary, lodging will be arranged and covered by the Foundation or its partners. Details will be shared with unit leadership in advance.
A designated Event Lead from the Elite 8 Foundation will maintain a roster and conduct accountability checks. Military units may also assign a point of contact to coordinate with the Event Lead.
Military leaders will receive a digital attendance sheet after the event, including check-in/check-out times, volunteer roles, and any noteworthy incidents. Real-time updates can be provided upon request.
Yes. Participation is fully voluntary, and individuals may leave at any time. We ask that they notify the Event Lead before departure for accountability purposes. It is very important to note, that if a service members leaves prior to conclusion of the envent transportation back may not be guaranteed. Elite 8 usually has buses arriving and departing at specific times only.
Dependign on the event, some events require specif attire, those requirements will be listed in the event webpage/event. If not specific attire is requested then volunteers should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate civilian attire. Branded Elite 8 shirts may be provided for visibility.
Elite 8 can send donation to units who volunteers on fund raising events to support specific military units or their programs.
No. There is no cost to military units for participation. All logistics, meals, lodging, and materials are covered by the Elite 8 Foundation and its partners.
We recommend bringing:
A valid military or government-issued ID
Comfortable shoes
Sunscreen (for outdoor events)
A refillable water bottle
Personal items like medication or hygiene products if staying overnight
